This is a blend of cuvées of organic Nerello Mascalese grapes, from terraced vineyards located high up on the north side of Etna, in Sicily. These old vines are co-planted with small quantities of Nerello Cappuccio, Grenache and with some indigenous white varieties; Grecanico, Catarratto and Minella Bianca. Bright crimson red, this wine has attractive aromas of red cherry and wild strawberry. On the palate it is dry, rich in balanced fruity aromas with juicy and ripe tannins and a fresh acidity.
