Serious Sangiovese alert! Vinified through the ancient “Governo Toscano” method with the Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile grapes slightly over-ripened by drying. It then ages for twenty-four months in barrels, large and small, then refines at least twelve additional months in the bottle. This Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva offers deep and intense flavors of dark cherry and plums, licorice and tobacco. Smooth tannins give way to a finish with beautiful length.
